Shoal Creek Canoe Run is conveniently located next to the bridge that crosses Shoal Creek on Highway 227 in Iron City, Tennessee. We are approximately 6 miles west of Highway 43 and 6 miles east of Highway 13. Shoal Creek Canoe Run is only 30 minutes south of Lawrenceburg, TN and 30 minutes north of Florence, AL. We are approximately 90 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee. Check out our map for directions.

Canoe season at SHOAL CREEK CANOE RUN officially begins Memorial Day weekend in May and ends Labor Day weekend in September. During this time, we open at 7 AM on WEEKENDS and on all major summer holidays. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO MAKE RESERVATIONS ON WEEKENDS, BUT ON WEEKDAYS AND WHEN CANOE SEASON IS OVER, YOU MUST MAKE A RESERVATION AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. THANK YOU.

BREAKFAST IS FROM 6 AM (7 AM ON WEEKENDS) UNTIL 10:30 AM
LUNCH IS FROM 11:00 AM UNTIL 2 PM
AFTER LUNCH, ALL FOOD IS COOKED TO ORDER. PLEASE BE PATIENT. WE WANT TO SERVE YOU THE FRESHEST FOOD POSSIBLE. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

RULES
- No alcoholic beverages or intoxicated canoeists are allowed. Shoal Creek Canoe Run owners and employees reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that poses a risk to themselves or others.
- No crashing of canoes or kayaks into one another. Canoeists will be liable for any loss or damage to any property of Shoal Creek Canoe Run.
- No firearms or weapons of any kind.
- No littering. Keep all litter in your canoe and properly dispose of litter after your trip.
- No glass containers.
- While being transported to and from access points, you MUST remain seated in the vehicle at all times.
- Life vests should be worn at all times. By law, life vests MUST be worn by children 12 years of age and younger.
- Please be courteous to other boaters or swimmers.
- No more than TWO adults per canoe. Too much weight causes excessive wear and tear on canoes and/or kayaks. One or two small children may ride with adults.
